Monday, Nov 6 - The second runner-up of "Money & Me" Young Entrepreneurs Challenge 2017 from SMK Bandar Utama applied knowledge gained from "Money & Me" by serving drinks and snacks to SPM students, funded by the school and to be continued for the next 10 days.

It's a wrap for Money&Me 2017 organised by The Edge Education Foundation. Here are some memorable moments captured from the Money&Me Prize-Giving and Appreciation Ceremony.

142 students from 8 schools in Klang Valley completed the "Money&Me" programme on Sept 30. Whilst students received a certificate of completion, all volunteers from our 7 partners (Citibank Malaysia, Ernst & Young Malaysia, General Electric (GE), KLK OLEO, Methodist College Kuala Lumpur, PwC Malaysia and Rotary Club of Sentul) received a certificate of appreciation.

Kudos to all Money and Me participants for generously contributing part of their profits from Sales Day to National Cancer Society Malaysia, PAWS Animal Welfare Society, Petaling Jaya, Kechara Soup Kitchen and ANGSANAcare.

Looking for something fun and worthwhile to do on Malaysia Day? Come and support the young entrepreneurs in The Edge Education Foundation's "Money & Me: Youth Financial Empowerment Programme" at Sales Day in 1Utama.

Money & Me is a free financial literacy cum basic entrepreneurship skills programme for Form 4 students from low- to lower-middle income homes. Sales Day allows the students to put into practice what they learned about managing money, budgeting, and how to set up a small business.

The participants come from 8 schools in KL and Selangor. Money & Me lessons are carried out in these schools by our partners Citibank, EY, GE, KLK Oleo, MCKL, PwC and Rotary Club of Sentul.

Money & Me also teaches participants about Giving, and the participants will be donating a portion of their profits from Sales Day to charity.

Money&Me Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 2017: Youth Financial Empowerment Programme saw the participation of 150 students from 8 secondary schools in KL and Selangor.

They are from Convent Sentul, La Salle Sentul, Methodist Girls' School Kuala Lumpur, SMK Bandar Utama, Smk Bangsar, SMK La Salle Brickfields, SMK (L) Methodist Sentul and SMK Sentul Utama.
